CONGRATULATIONS TO COACH KYLE QUICK AND THE BUFFALO REGALS 18U BEAST TEAM

NEW YORK STATE CHAMPIONS

After a tough season, and an even tougher off season, Coach Kyle Quick and18u Beast Team are the New York State Champions. The team was victorious in their quest for a state championship. They deserve the right to represent New York State at the National Championships and have once again proven it. The team was undefeated in this weekends State tournament winning games against the Saints aka Bishop Kearney, Clifton Park, and Nichols School.

They advanced to Sundays game as first place in the B division facing the Buffalo Junior Sabres, the second place team in the A division. 

The victory was sweet, but they needed to recover as they awaited the championship game against a tougher opponent, the Long Island Gulls.

Long Island was the only other team to go undefeated. The game was at 7:35 pm Sunday evening. The Regals scored first, answered 40 seconds later by a Gulls goal. The game remained tied until about halfway through the second period when the Regals scored the go ahead goal, followed by another about 3 minutes later. The score was 3-1 as the team battled to maintain their lead throughout the third period. 

The final score was 3-1 Congratulations- they are on their way to Nationals !!!!!!!
